Employee steals $900,000
The Field Museum in Chicago recently disclosed that a theft, allegedly perpetrated by an employee over seven years, resulted in the loss of $900,000. According to this story on DNAinfo.com, the employee, who has not been charged, pocketed a percentage of museum membership fees and was fired in 2014.
